5 Ways to Delight Your Baby This Easter
Spring is
here, and with the new season comes one of my favorite holidays — Easter. This is
such a fun time of year for my family as we all get together to celebrate. And
it’s even more fun now that I have little ones to help carry on the traditions
that I had growing up.Lately, I’ve been wanting to find creative and unique
things to do with baby on Easter. Here’s what I came up with:1. Stage an Easter
Bunny photo op.Everyone loves a photo op! My kids love seeing the Easter Bunny.
Our town hosts an Easter Egg Hunt that not only lets us hunt for eggs, baby toys, but also get a picture
with the Easter Bunny himself! Everyone wants their little one looking their
best for a photo, so look for outfits that are perfect for spring and that will
give that photo with the Easter Bunny the perfect pop of color!2. Put unique
things in their Easter baskets. The Easter Bunny doesn’t only leave candy in our
Easter baskets… he loves to leave other things too! I always loved
finding age-appropriate goodies for my children that didn’t involve candy. That
way, they could use them well beyond the holiday. Fill their Easter Basket with
little toys you know they’ll love.Advertisement3. Include their favorite foods
in Easter brunch. One of my favorite things about Easter is spending it with my
family. We always cook a big brunch full of our favorite foods. My little ones
love to join in on the fun and I make sure to make food appropriate for them, no
matter how old they are. That goes for the plates and utensils, too!4. Keep Baby
entertained during the Easter egg hunt.Sometimes your little one is too young to
participate in the finding of the eggs, but don’t let that upset them. Just find
another fun activity for them to do! The Finding Nemo Sea of Activities
Jumper can keep Baby occupied with 13+ activities while older kids hunt for
Easter eggs.5. Make Baby’s Easter basket do double duty!If you want something to
put your Easter goodies in that you can use for more than one day, baby nappies, why not let the Easter
Bunny fill a fun Disney-themed diaper bag? It can be filled with treats and
small gifts for your little one, and then you can use the bag to carry their
things when you are out and about.
