However, after countless years of Maplestory's existence, I can't manage my link abilities without needing to log into 12 personalities, pirate explorers have come to be the storage platform, and items that could reasonably be account-bound are character-bound. I know the last part was sort of a rant on
Maplestory Mesos, but it isn't without a point.
Most of us know that if you have some time and don't wish to use money, play in Reboot. Worse? What blessings and grievances do you: a newcomer, an ordinary player, or a godly veteran feel when playing?I am leaving this under Feedback because I still feel we should eventually Migrate Bug Tracking to some proper, JIRA based subsite. The fact I felt that I had to create the under lends to that.
While I've noticed several bugs previously two or update, I have been worried to file bug reports. This is principally due to the fact, since Bug Reports are filed using forum issues, asserting format is a nuisance. There's a guideline, however this guideline is corrected (bold font, in which text has been placed, etc) can change quite markedly. Each time I made a topic, I'd have to pull out my template and be sure I am inputting all of my information, repeatedly.
To mitigate this issue, I spent the night putting together a webpage which builds your posts for you. You simply enter relevant info, and it outputs what should be suitably structured article code. No mistakes cutting to the headers and these, ensuring you pick the ideal space. I will put it to use probably tomorrow when I have enough time to properly document all the problems I have encountered.
Note that exactly what I have there is probably VERY cluttered to anybody that knows coding. I mostly wanted to be in a position to add/remove fields without much fuss, so I needed to remain only to one medium, which was HTML forms with almost no other look ups... If anyone can do it cleaner/better, feel free to, but as far as what is there, it works.
If it's the only image(s) on a line, it'll centre it/them too.) What method did you use to restrict it to numbers only? I recall attempting to handle that with my Hyper Stat Calculator, but ended up just using a select element since there were so many ways for people to slip garbage information into the area.
Edit: Found you. So you used the number type. Hmm. I discovered reports individuals can do workarounds to insert non-numeric data. Even though the way I am using a form within my own page, turns out the browser is imposing the numerical restriction for me, whereas my calculator was still trying to be automatic and consequently was working by itself.
Fixed it. Section of how my really strange, written overnight code works: I used the form's "components" collection to find each field. (If I wished to add/remove areas, I could only add one row into the table, along with the code could adjust itself.) To differentiate between them so that the code did the proper actions, I was considering either the "kind" or "tagName" to get specific values. "number" was not included in my check, so it was disregarding
Maplestory items. (Inclusive assessing, such as how MapleStory is coded to stop exploits.) Only added "number" and it works alright.
Man, I coded this strangely. But that's why I invite anyone to code a much better iteration.
