And you are honored/respected by most players on the server on the other faction in addition to in your faction. It's a lot of work if you have tasks on your guild and are an officer/class leader. You need to always plan your time efficiently and effective. Grinding dungeon over and
WoW Classic Gold above for gear/consumables or helping other people to gear up. Farming herbs&gold, killing elementals, mining materials, fishing, cooking, etc.. Somewhen everything starts feeling like a job instead of a game and you eliminate pleasure at it. And for what? Just to be that small percentage quicker and quicker than other guilds.
The debate hardcore guilds are utilizing"that the raiding time takes shorther, we evident MC at 40min, BWL in 1 hour, where as other guilds need two raiding times to clear" never appealed to me personally. Yes, raids are done quicker but the time you save in raids that were quick you need to spend more in maximizing your personality and farming consumables. I'd rather raid more than farming and grinding all that shit.My fundest memories I've had in WoW Classic when I was in certain casual guilds (90 percent of the time that I've been at high guilds tho, somehow I always ended up there, because I've been a very skilled and knowledgeable player). There were not any rules to have the very best gear enchanted and being buffed to the very best with all buffs. Just like everybody desired. If a person wanted to conquer the damage meters, he was free to go and get all that fans. But none was compelled to. Yes, in some stage (up from BWL) the raids start getting harder and some pre tape preparation is inalienable, but until then you could only have fun without even raid preparation. And WoW Classic can already be fun using MC/full T1 gear.
In my ingame"freetime" in these casual guilds we would do some RP-Events, like a lvl1 gnome race through the entire world, hogger raids, attacking an enemy city or simply drinking beer in our favourite pub in Sturmwind. Most of the players were so called"noobs" but WoW Classic was more fun with them. Dungeons and raids felt more difficult and challenging. We used to wipe out a lot in MC because of really dumb individual mistakes, but it was funny and we laughed a lot. We would talk and laugh most of the moment in TS generally, because everybody played WoW Classic for fun and was not that serious and angry on eachother (as opposed to hardcore raiders, that will become very mad at you, when you f*ck up and wipe them with that expensive consumable fans and world buffs).
Raids didn't feel like work with time pressure and rushes through for the speed record, it had been more of an epic and slow encounter and more of an adventure. The whole game felt like an adventure, because you had time to research and also to do the tiny things ingame. And the most important thing: you would have more time for your buddies and what really counts: interacting with the world.Just my 2 cents here. Raiding in high guilds can be enjoyable, but you should be aware it may kill the joy of
Buy WoW Classic Items, if you make it into your daylie work. I will not play Classic, I am too sated of this, I've played with the past 8 years Classic on different personal servers. I'm craving for something like Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. However, if I'd play with it, I would definitely play it slow and casual to relish every moment of it:-RRB-?
