The Best Free Video Streaming Services for 2022

Most people would probably prefer not to think about how much they spend per month, let alone per year, on video streaming services. Between watching the latest on-demand originals, popular movies, and live streaming channels, you can easily end up paying $50 or more per month. However, you can save on costs by using one or several free video streaming options. To get more news about 39bet-xsmb-xsmn-xsmt-nạp rút an toàn-lô đề, you can visit official website.

Note that these free options aren't as sophisticated as paid streaming services, nor do they have as much or as high-quality content. You can think of these as complementary services to cover any gaps in your entertainment needs. You can get by just watching free services if that's what fits your budget, but you should expect some compromises.

With that in mind, these are our favorite free video streaming services, along with advice on the content and features you can expect to get with them.NBC's Peacock offers an ad-supported free plan with more than 13,000 hours of content. This includes classic TV, popular movies, and original shows. The quality, generosity, and flexibility make it an Editors’ Choice pick specifically for its free content.

Plex now has a surprising amount of free on-demand streaming content. The catalog includes Crackle’s full library of movies and TV shows, as well as films from MGM, Warner Bros., and other major studios. Although you can’t download this content to your media server, you don’t need to reserve space for it, either.

Tubi is a free video streaming service with a claimed collection of 20,000 movies and TV shows. Its catalog includes popular films, such as A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Black Hawk Down, Donnie Darko, and Legally Blonde. Notable TV entries include 3rd Rock From the Sun, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Hell's Kitchen, and Naruto.

Previously known as IMDb TV, Freevee is Amazon’s free alternative to Prime Video. You can watch ad-supported versions of popular shows and movies, such as Mad Men and Logan. Freevee also has original shows, including Bosch Legacy and other spin-offs of original Prime Video shows.

CW Seed offers complete seasons of popular CW shows for free. From 90210 to Krypton to The Game, it’s all there. You just have to watch commercials, as you would with the over-the-air CW.

PBS Video gives you free access to PBS content, including on-demand streaming, local broadcasts, and live shows. PBS offers several different streaming services, such as PBS Documentaries and PBS Passport, but this is the only free one.

RetroCrush is a completely free anime streaming service. You can watch everything in its library, and don't have to endure many ads. The flip side is that the small library is limited to older shows and movies, not contemporary content.

The Roku Channel delivers free, ad-supported shows, movies, and original material. This includes live TV and the ability to purchase premium paid channels. On mobile, it even turns your phone into a Roku remote.

Serverless Live Streaming with Cloudflare Stream

We’re excited to introduce the open beta of Stream Live, an end-to-end scalable live-streaming platform that allows you to focus on growing your live video apps, not your codebase. To get more news about 39bet-liêng-xì dách-phỏm miền bắc-tiến lên miền bắc-xóc đĩa, you can visit official website.

With Stream Live, you can painlessly grow your streaming app to scale to millions of concurrent broadcasters and millions of concurrent users. Start sending live video from mobile or desktop using the industry standard RTMPS protocol to millions of viewers instantly. Stream Live works with the most popular live video broadcasting software you already use, including ffmpeg, OBS or Zoom. Your broadcasts are automatically recorded, optimized and delivered using the Stream player.

When you are building your live infrastructure from scratch, you have to answer a few critical questions:

“Which codec(s) are we going to use to encode the videos?”
“Which protocols are we going to use to ingest and deliver videos?”
“How are the different components going to impact latency?”
We built Stream Live, so you don’t have to think about these questions and spend considerable engineering effort answering them. Stream Live abstracts these pesky yet important implementation details by automatically choosing the most compatible codec and streaming protocol for the client device. There is no limit to the number of live broadcasts you can start and viewers you can have on Stream Live. Whether you want to make the next viral video sharing app or securely broadcast all-hands meetings to your company, Stream will scale with you without having to spend months building and maintaining video infrastructure.
Whether your platform has one active broadcaster or ten thousand, Stream Live scales with your use case. You don’t have to worry about adding new compute instances, setting up availability zones or negotiating additional software licenses.

Legacy live video pipelines built in-house typically ingest and encode the live stream continents away in a single location. Video that is ingested far away makes video streaming unreliable, especially for global audiences. All Cloudflare locations run the necessary software to ingest live video in and deliver video out. Once your video broadcast is in the Cloudflare network, Stream Live uses the Cloudflare backbone and Argo to transmit your live video with increased reliability.

How does streaming work?
Everyone wants videos instantly in high resolution, but there are limitations determined by internet bandwidth requirements. To watch a stream without latency, the required bandwidth depends on the video codec and the compression efficiency. To get more news about 39bet-sòng bạc trực tuyến-cá độ bóng đá-mua vé số-đặt cược onl-máy đua ngựa, you can visit official website.

Depending on the encoder, streaming platform, and audience, resolution and bitrate will vary. And because not everybody has the newest device, there’s no single bitrate that can work for every single viewer.

Here’s a chart where you can check the average bandwidth to build your own mobile live streaming app:The bitrate is the amount of data required to encode a single second of video. The higher the bitrate, the higher the quality and the more bandwidth it will require. You can’t just upload at the highest bitrate possible.

If a user has a download speed of 5 Mbps (megabits per second) and they’re watching a stream at 6 Mbps, their computer will compress the file and the resulting video will be choppy. They’ll probably get stuck in buffering limbo.

Most platforms nowadays transcode videos so that connections have personalized bitrates, but this often sacrifices quality.Users are migrating to online streaming services because they offer 24/7 access to content they love. This online shift is challenging the power of television to retain viewers. According to various sources, over 50% of video content is now accessed through streaming. Besides convenience, streaming platforms allow subscribers to take full control of what they watch and when they watch it.

At SteelKiwi, we’ve built a platform that streams video content through Wistia and entertains kids. To see what technology stack we used and to learn more about the features of this platform, read our Muslim kids case study.

Bally Sports DTC Streaming App To Include 5 MLB Teams

The MLB lockout may have ended but the long-awaited Bally Sports direct-to-consumer streaming app may not meet its quarter 2 “soft launch” projection, but 5 MLB teams are expected to be part of the app when it does launch this summer, according to reporting by the Kansas City Star. Bally Sports has digital rights to the Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, Miami Marlins, and Detroit Tigers, which means fans who live in their markets will be able to stream live games once the app launches around midseason. To get more news about 39bet- cờ bạc trực tuyến-đánh bài thua-cược đá gà-xì tố onl-mua vé số onl, you can visit official website.

As of now, cord cutters do not have many ways to stream in-market MLB games on Bally Sports RSNs, as DIRECTV Stream is the only streaming provider that carries the RSNs. With Opening Day 2022 two weeks away, fans are begging for more ways to watch local games since many streaming providers have stopped carrying Bally Sports.

Fans who live in the market of the Chicago Cubs may have a way to watch games as the club has been in talks with Bally Sports’ parent company Sinclair Broadcasting about starting their own DTC streaming service. Nothing has been finalized as of yet between Sinclair and the Cubs, however, the team has received push back from the MLB, as the league could create their own in-market streaming service.

As of now, fans who live out-of-market can watch live MLB games on MLB.TV, which is currently going for a promotional price of $129.99 for the 2022 season. Baseball fans who are T-Mobile subscribers can watch games on MLB.TV for free via a link in the T-Mobile Tuesday app for those who qualify.

On a larger scale, the MLB has made moves during the offseason to give fans more streaming options to watch nationally broadcasted games. The upcoming season will be the first for Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+, and the league is expected to announce Sunday Morning Baseball on Peacock soon.

Without a DIRECTV Stream subscription, fans who live in the local markets of the aforementioned 5 teams will have to wait for the Bally Sports DTC app to launch before they can watch their local club on the diamond. However, Bally Sports has to secure a digital rights deal with the other 9 MLB teams that play on their RSNs if they want to surely surpass their projected 975,000 subscriber threshold. On a positive note, Sinclair was able to secure digital rights agreements for 16 NBA teams and 12 NHL teams within the last four months, which will greatly help bolster the DTC app.

Faster to Add Live Streaming for Mobile and Web Apps

With the rise of Twitch and other real-time video platforms, live streaming has grown significantly in the past five years as a way for organizations to drive higher engagement with viewers, employees, and customers. However, to send real-time video from apps to streaming platforms, developers need to either use legacy products or build custom solutions. Legacy products provide limited scalability and don’t provide native streaming of video from apps. Building custom solutions is time consuming and complex—requiring developers to write a lot of code for processing video, managing infrastructure, and securely sending video in a format that can be ingested by the streaming platform. To get more news about 39bet-đánh bài onl-sicbo-máy đánh bạc- cờ bạc onl-cá độ bóng đá, you can visit official website.

That’s why, today, we’re proud to announce the general availability of live connector, a new feature of Amazon Chime SDK. Live connector makes it easier and faster to add live streaming to web and mobile apps and reach millions of viewers by sending real-time video to streaming platforms. Using live connector, developers can create and send a video stream from a multi-party video session to streaming platforms for distribution to a global audience. Developers can enhance the live streaming experience by formatting video layouts, choosing and combining multiple video streams into a single stream, and using machine learning (ML) to uplift audio and video quality. Video streams can be captured into a single file for video on demand (VoD) playback, offline consumption, or archiving. Developers can use live connector to broadcast virtual events, webinars, education classes, fitness sessions, product demos for live commerce, online games, and sports.

About Amazon Chime SDK live connector:
Live connector makes it easy for developers to livestream multi-party video sessions by securely sending video from apps to streaming platforms with just a few lines of code. Developers can create an output video stream within minutes from their apps in Real-Time Messaging Protocol Secure (RTMPS) format that can be ingested by streaming platforms. Developers can have customers watch the livestream either within their apps itself or in social media platforms. For example, developers building virtual event apps can use live connector in conjunction with Amazon IVS to have customers watch events in real-time within their app. Audio and video are synced since both streams are captured in real-time for each attendee in an Amazon Chime SDK meeting. Live connector is built on AWS infrastructure and elastically scales in a cost-effective manner. VoD files are automatically created after the completion of the video session in an Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket designated by the developer. Native ML services from Amazon Chime SDK reduce background noise and echo without having the developers to use third-party apps.

“At MICE Platform Co.,Ltd, we want our events to reach the broadest audience possible, while still delivering a best-in-class event experience. Building live stream event experiences can be difficult and time intensive, requiring specialized software that can be difficult for presenters to install and manage,” said Tsuyoshi Suzuki, chief technology officer, MICE Platform Co.,Ltd. “We have implemented the Amazon Chime SDK live connector so that multiple remote speakers can join to present together seamlessly, and without the need for special software. With live connector, it’s easy for us to send video to Amazon Interactive Video Service (IVS) to stream the meeting, so thousands of viewers can attend the event. We love that this feature makes presenting easier for our special guests while simultaneously making it simple to reach a large audience.”

How To Live Stream Mobile Games On Twitch

Up until now, most of the attention was aimed at the PC and console gaming world. XBOX, PlayStation, and modern gaming rigs have (historically) dominated the market due to their high quality graphics and vibrant gameplay. To get more news about 39bet-kèo cá cược-lego-cò quay-blackjack-xì phé, you can visit official website.

However, as technology continues to improve, mobile devices are starting to come into the limelight as fun, effective gaming platforms, in their own right. And Twitch has been paying attention.

With the launch of Twitch’s new Mobile App, live streaming mobile gaming has never been easier. In this article, we’ll give you a step-by-step guide on how to stream mobile games on Twitch. While some gamers favor the use of a console, mobile games are growing fast. Streaming from a mobile device often requires a more detailed setup than streaming from your computer or console, though – so we’re going to help walk you through the process! (and if you ever have questions, you can always reach out to us on Discord or our support staff).

How to stream mobile games on Twitch with an app
The simplest and most effective way to stream your mobile game on Twitch is through the use of a purpose-made application. There are a variety to choose from, and the best ones are free. The app you use will essentially mirror your phone’s display so that your viewers can see what you’re playing.

Naturally, we recommend Lightstream’s MobileCast app. MobileCast is a free app that works seamlessly with Lightstream Studio; it allows you to design your mobile stream according to your creative vision, and requires minimal technical know-how, or hassle. You can get up and running in minutes.
1. Install Lightstream Studio on your computer and Lightstream MobileCast on your phone. You’ll use these in conjunction with one another.

2. Log into the app on both devices, then choose to create a new Gamer Project in your Lightstream Studio. Switch the “Auto Live Project” toggle to on.

3. Go to your Lightstream MobileCast app on your phone. From there, it will give you the option to link up with your new project in Studio.

4. Switch your focus back onto Studio on your computer, as this is where you can add overlays and access all the features you would normally use during a PC stream. You can now play your game from the mobile and control your screen appearance from your PC.

8 Of The Best Apps For DJ Livestreaming

Read on to discover the best software to use for DJ livestreaming, whether you want to livestream from your Mac or Windows computer, iOS/iPadOS device, or Android phone/tablet. In this article we’ll explain why you need such software, and talk you through our top choices from the many options out there. To get more news about 39bet-đua ngựa-máy bắn cá-tỷ lệ nhà cái-kéo cầu tài xỉu-baccarat, you can visit official website.

So why do you need software? Well, the software sits between your camera and audio and the platform or platforms you want to broadcast to. It handles the encoding of the visuals and sound, so that everything “arrives” at your chosen platform in the correct format.

It also lets you do all those cool things you see on some livestreams, such as our lockdown sessions (here’s a link to a recent lockdown livestream DJ set from me, on YouTube) – like adding titles and backgrounds, putting your viewers’ comments on the screen, switching cameras, mixing between microphone and music, and so on.
Somewhere in your set-up, this has to happen in some way or another. When you hit “Go Live” in Facebook or Instagram, for instance, what’s happening is that the platform’s own app – the one you use daily to scroll your feed – is switching into “livestreaming software” mode, taking over the audio and camera on your device, to do this job for you.

But of course, native apps are limited – it is hard to switch camera (other than sometimes between the front and back camera on a phone or tablet), or to add titles, or to show viewer comments, and all the rest. As soon as you want to break away from using your phone and starting doing more ambitious broadcasts, you need to use software other than your platforms’ own.

That’s where livestreaming software comes in. It is often called “video switching” software, because traditionally, such software was designed to do what expensive broadcast hardware used to do before computers got so powerful – namely, switch between video (and audio) sources before the finished “feed” was sent off to be broadcast.

2. OBS
OBS – short for “Open Broadcaster Software”, also sometimes known as “OBS Studio” – is a free video streaming tool for Mac and PC (and Linux). It is powerful, being able to do most of what extremely expensive apps like Wirecast and vMix can do, but without the outlay.

3. Streamlabs OBS
This is a solution based on OBS, and therefore free, but with the option of some paid-for additions. It majors on being easy to use, and claims to “auto optimise” your settings for your chosen platform or platforms. It comes with built-in widgets and themes to jazz up your broadcast.

4. Ecamm Live
Back in the day, it was actually hard to broadcast from your computer to Facebook Live – you had to use the mobile app. Ecamm Live bridged the gap. It was really simple, back then, but over the years it has developed into an easy to use but powerful tool. It has flexible cameras, scenes, overlay and titling, the ability to play pre-recorded video, add comments snd widgets – pretty much all of what you’ll need.

5. XSplit Broadcaster
Disclaimer: Unlike the other apps in this roundup, we haven’t tried XSplit Broadcaster, because it is Windows only, and we are Mac-based. That said, we have detailed feedback from our community on it. It is similar in approach to Ecamm Live, but while Ecamm Live is Mac only, this is one for PC users.

6. Switcher Studio
Not everyone wants to use a laptop or desktop computer to stream from. Maybe you own an iPad Pro, for instance, and think, “It’s as powerful as a laptop, why can’t I just use this?” Especially if you use an iPad and an iPhone, and have an old iPhone in your bedside drawer (you’ll know if this is you…), Switcher Studio could be the solution you didn’t know you needed to use all of these things together.

7. Larix Broadcaster
If you want to still use your phone (not a laptop) to broadcast from, but don’t want to be tied to any particular channel, and instead want to broadcast to service like Restream.io to send your signal to, say, Twitch and YouTube live at the same time, then there are actually quite a few options available to you that achieve this relatively simple task.

8. Yellow Duck
Yellow Duck goes to the trouble of actually fooling Instagram into thinking your computer is an Android device, just to let you stream from your desktop…
Now the eagle-eyed will have noticed we haven’t mentioned Instagram at all here. That’s because Instagram is a phone-based platform, and there is no easy way of using third-party software of any type, and definitely not your Mac or Windows computer, to stream to Instagram.

The majority of the users of YouNow are under 24 years old. Many teens use the app to broadcast their talents. For example, dancing and singing are very popular broadcasts.
