Tompkins Robotics Announces RaaS Model through Its Partnership with Global Robotics Services
Tompkins Robotics, a leader in the robotic automation of distribution and fulfillment operations, has partnered with Global Robotics Services (GRS), a GLP backed platform that provides financial backing for collaborative robots as a service (RaaS) solutions. To get more news about Tompkins Robotics GRS, you can visit glprobotics.com official website.
The Tompkins Robotics – GRS RaaS solution provides customers with the ability to pay for what they consume including equipment, installation, commissioning, and support costs, all of which are included in the service level agreement (SLA). This innovative model gives customers the flexibility of a subscription-based pricing and service option instead of traditional capital equipment purchase and support model. This conserves capital, converts investment to an operating cost, and allows a customer to “pay as they go” for the use of the system. RaaS also provides customers with the ability to scale up and down rapidly and easily in response to changing market conditions or seasonal demand such as the Holiday season, Back to School, January returns, and other seasonal events.
Tompkins Robotics is a global leader focused on the robotic automation of distribution and fulfillment operations. Our primary system, tSort, consists of autonomous mobile robots that sort a wide range of items and parcels to consolidation points for order fulfillment, store replenishment, returns, parcel distribution – virtually any process in the supply chain. tSort is a truly modular, scalable, and portable robotic sortation system that helps build world-class supply chains while providing unmatched flexibility and throughput. With three models, tSort; tSort Plus; tSort Mini; and two sortation methods, tilt trays and cross belts, Tompkins Robotics systems handle the broadest range of product on the market - as small as a penny to up to 40 inches long by 30 inches wide and weighing up to 120 pounds. Our systems work in small operations in the backroom of a grocery, supercenter or mall anchor store to large fulfillment centers processing millions of units a day. Our systems maximize performance, making our clients more agile, adaptable, profitable, and successful in today’s dynamic marketplace.
We also have other proprietary solutions such as the xChange, tSort3D, and xPress. xChange is a robotic sortation order removal and replacement system for orders and shipping systems. tSort3D is a new, very dense sortation system ideal for ecommerce and provides as much as 10 times the sort destinations and volume compared to competing solutions. xPress is an overhead robotic transport system that can be used in retail to DC environments. We continue to expand the core systems with complementary robotics and integrated material handling systems to automate fulfillment operations.
Shop the best live Prime Day 2022 smart home deals
Prime Day 2022 is officially underway. And whether you want to replace old light switches with smart dimmers, swap your deadbolt for a smart lock, or invest in a smart home hub to control multiple gadgets, there's a smart home deal for you. Here are our top picks. To get more news about best commercial security company, you can visit securamsys.com official website.
The Kasa Smart Dimmer Switches from TP-Link are an easy way to turn your existing lighting into smart lighting. With some basic experience with electrical wiring, you can replace your standard light switches with these babies and set them up through the Kasa Smart app. Then, you'll have full control of brightness and lighting preferences directly from your phone.
A single switch is nice, but three is better if you're looking to upgrade your lighting in multiple rooms. The Kasa Dimmer three-pack is typically $74.99, but early Prime Day savings have dropped the price to only $46.99 — just shy of its lowest price ever. The ULTRALOQ U-Bolt Z-Wave is a simple way to add smart home capabilities to your front door. It offers six flexible entry methods (three ways with a phone and three ways without a phone), easy DIY installation, and dual data encryption to keep your information safe. This deal also comes with the door sensor, which unlocks even more smart home features. It does require a compatible Z-Wave hub or Ultraloq Bridge, which are sold separately.
Blink is running some serious early Prime Day deals, with nearly every smart doorbell, security camera, and bundle deal heavily discounted. But this bundle deal — which comes with one Blink outdoor camera and the Blink Mini — takes the cake. The Blink Outdoor is a wireless, battery-powered, HD security camera (one of our top picks) that helps you keep an eye on your home day or night with infrared night vision, while the Blink Mini is a compact, plug-in security camera with 1080 HD video, motion detection, and two-way audio to keep an eye on things inside.
One of our top picks overall for a smart plug for your home — particularly for Amazon device integration — the Amazon Smart Plug pairs with Alexa. If you already have other Amazon smart home devices, it'll fit seamlessly into your lineup. It's also an easy-setup option if you're just beginning your journey into smart home life.
While it may not be as feature-packed as the Google Nest, the Amazon Smart Thermostat is great for smart home beginners looking to make some basic energy-efficient upgrades. You can control it using Alexa-enabled devices or directly through the Alexa app.
Ahead of Earth Day, the Amazon Smart Thermostat reached its previous lowest price ever of $48. Ahead of Prime Day, however, the price has taken an even deeper dive. It's on sale for just $41.99 — that's 30% off its MSRP. Even with the Nest's massive Prime Day savings, it's still significantly cheaper. The first-generation Echo Show 8 might not have the upgraded camera and extra functionality like its successor, but it's still an all-around solid smart home hub that offers entertainment, video calls, and more. Keep it in a central location for easy control of all of your other smart home devices — including smart lighting, security cameras, smart plugs, and more.
August's WiFi smart lock drops to new low of $150 for Prime Day
There are tons of smart locks on the market now, but one of our favorites remains August's 4th-gen WiFi smart lock. Normally priced at $230, the IoT gadget is on sale for $150 for Prime Day. That's $80 off and the best price we've seen it. There's also a bundle with the lock and its keypad on sale for 30 percent off, for a total of $189.To get more news about electronic safe lock, you can visit securamsys.com official website.
The smart lock earned a score of 80 from us when we reviewed it in 2020. August improved upon the previous version by making this model slimmer and WiFi-connected, which means you don't need a bridge to use it in your home. Setup is pretty easy as the lock fits over most existing deadbolts, but be sure to check out the company's support page to make sure it'll work with your lock. We also like that the setup process forces you to turn on two-factor authentication, adding a much-needed extra layer of security. This version of the smart lock also supports Bluetooth encryption along with AES 128-bit and TLS encryption.
The whole point of a smart lock is to be able to control entry into your home when you're not around. August's device lets you remotely lock or unlock your door using the companion smartphone app, allowing you to let friends and family members into your home even when you're not around. You can also send them limited-time entry keys so they can get in on their own. We appreciate the device's Auto-Lock feature, too, which automatically secures the door when the device detects that it's been shut. And you don't have to worry if you're not ready to part with your old-school, physical keys — they'll still work even with the August smart lock installed, so you always have another way to get into your home.
Alibaba and Tencent stocks plunge after latest fines
Shares of Chinese technology firms Alibaba and Tencent fell sharply on Monday, a day after Chinese regulators fined their subsidiaries for not disclosing transactions and failing to comply with anti-monopoly rules.E-commerce giant Alibaba’s shares in Hong Kong fell 6.8%, while gaming and social media company Tencent Holdings sank 3.2%. The Hang Seng index declined 3%.To get more tencent latest news, you can visit shine news official website.
On Sunday, China’s State Administration for Market Regulation published a list of 28 deals that violated anti-monopoly rules.
It included five of Alibaba’s transactions and 12 of Tencent’s. A wide-reaching crackdown on the technology sector has often hit stock prices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. For violations in each case, the maximum fine was 500,000 yuan ($74,500).
A wide-reaching crackdown on the technology sector has often hit stock prices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, though signs the authorities might be easing up spurred gains in recent months.
Alibaba's shares had risen 70% and Tencent's were up 18% since mid-March, before Monday's losses.
“The dip is likely to be temporary. The market was more wary about the U.S. raising interest rates so sharply, but it’s just been overrun by the new fines,” said Francis Lun, an investment manager and veteran market commentator in Hong Kong.
An increase in coronavirus cases that raised fears of more pandemic lockdowns in Shanghai also shook investor sentiment, he said.

Some Omicron sub-variants escaping antibodies from Sinopharm shot
A small Chinese study detailed in The Lancet Infectious Diseases journal showed neutralising antibodies against some Omicron sub-variants were largely undetectable after two doses of a Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine, with a booster shot only partly restoring them.To get more news about sinopharm vaccine: latest update, you can visit shine news official website.
The study comes as China, which has approved only locally developed COVID shots including the Sinopharm vaccine, strives to improve vaccination rates, maintaining a "dynamic zero COVID" policy aimed at eradicate all outbreaks while many countries have adopted an approach of learning to live with the virus. The vaccine, BBIBP-CorV, is one of the two Sinopharm COVID shots approved for use in China, and is also the main shot that the state-owned firm has exported.
Among 25 individuals who received two doses of BBIBP-CorV vaccine, the neutralising activity against sub-variants such as BA.2.12.1 and BA.4/BA.5 "was not or only minimally detectable", researchers said in correspondence published on Monday.
Neutralising activity against those sub-variants was observed in just 24-48% of subjects who received a BBIBP-CorV booster shot after the two-dose product, researchers said, citing results from a group of 25 participants. The rate improved slightly, to 30-53%, for those who received a third shot made by a unit of Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products (300122.SZ), another vaccine approved for use in China, according to data from another group of 30 subjects.
The study did not discuss the boosters' efficacy, a rate that reflects how well they could lower the risk of COVID disease or death, which is usually observed in large clinical trials.
This cross-sectional survey-based study was carried out from 10 January to 30 April 2021 to evaluate Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine adverse reactions among residents in the UAE. The study utilized a self-administered online survey created on Google Forms which had been randomly delivered to individuals (aged ≥18 years) using social media sites (Facebook, Email and WhatsApp). Potential participants were directed to a webpage with a brief introduction to the aim and purpose of the study and instructions on how to complete the survey. Informed consent that included statements about voluntary participation and anonymity was sought from all the respondents prior to data collection by sending a standardized general invitation letter with the survey link to accept or decline participation in the study. Participants who declined consent were not permitted to open the survey and participate in the study, and participants could withdraw from the survey at any time in line with the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki Ethical principles (Aresté and Salgueira, 2013). Persons who clicked on the link were directed to Google Forms and, to avoid issues of missing data, they had to respond to all the questions or were unable to proceed to the next section of the survey. No incentive or compensation was given to participants (Elm et al., 2007).
Out of 1102 surveys received from respondents, 1080 participants aged ≥18 years, from different emirates and nationalities, were included in this study. The study sample included participants who were either vaccinated with the first dose or second dose of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine and those who did not receive any COVID-19 vaccine during the early peak of the vaccination campaign in the UAE. Individuals aged <18 years and non-residents in the UAE were excluded from this study as they were not permitted to receive any vaccine type in the UAE during the conduct of this study. Individuals who had received a COVID-19 vaccine other than Sinopharm were not included in the study, based on the study's aims.
KC man embraces e-bikes amid pain at the pump
It's a beautiful morning in Kansas City, Missouri and Ryan Mott is getting his daughters ready for school. "I am privileged enough to say I don't know what the gas price is right now," said Mott. For the Mott family, cycling the streets of Midtown has become common place, regardless of the time or weather. To get more news about Fat Tire Electric Bikes, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.
"I found I'm not late as often since I've been riding a bike because I give myself that extra time," explained Mott. "If I'm late I can peddle harder, with a car you can speed, but its not a great idea and too many people are going fast anyway."To get more news about electric bikes for adults, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.
Traveling at speeds of up to 20mph, Mott and his three daughters will ride to school, the store and even the dentist several miles away, but the shift to cycling didn't happen overnight. To get more news about fat tire electric bike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.
"I grew up south central Kansas and like most rural kids, I mean as soon as I could get my learners permit, that was that. I don't think I touched my bike again until about 3 years ago," said Mott. "I checked out one of the electric share bikes for a lunch break around crown center and thought I would give it a try. That, that first pedal stroke, and it took off and I thought this is pretty cool. E-bikes are something else. It was just fun at first, but then I realized the more I did it, this could replace my shorter trips to work, my trips to the grocery store. I put a basket on the front and it just went from there."
Now Mott is on a mission to get more Kansas Citians to strap on their helmets, adding the benefits out way any potential cost.
"I've spent less on this bike than I have I think on all the cars I've ever had. Its' coming close to paying for itself, especially with the way gas prices are right now."
How To Watch Every 2022 World Cup Match In The U.S.
Replace the batteries in your TV remote, set your alarm for way-too-early a.m. and get ready to watch the best month of sports of the year as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar runs from Nov. 21 to Dec. 18. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch World Cup 2022 in the United States. To get more news about XemBD, you can visit xembd.cc official website.
This year’s World Cup has a few firsts making this viewing experience unique: It’s the first World Cup held in the Middle East, and it’s the first World Cup held in the Northern Hemisphere’s winter. This means matches will kick off quite early in the morning for most Americans, with 5 a.m. ET matches for the first eight days of the tournament (that’s 2 a.m. PT). Fortunately for U.S. men’s national team fans, every group-stage match for Gregg Berhalter’s Americans will kick off at 2 p.m. ET. The earliest a USMNT game could be is 10 a.m. ET in the knockout rounds.
In brief, you can watch the World Cup in English on either Fox or FS1, with Telemundo and Universo airing the matches in Spanish. Fox Sports App will stream matches in English; Peacock will stream most matches in Spanish. Additionally, streaming services like fubo, Sling TV and YouTube TV offer the channels airing the matches.
On the English side of things, Fox will air 35 matches while FS1 will air 29. Big Fox will air every USMNT game with one possible exception: If the U.S. finishes second in Group B, FS1 will air its Round of 16 match because it would take place on a Sunday and Fox is prioritizing the NFL. The World Cup TV schedule is subject to change, but it’s unlikely Fox will replace NFL with soccer, as it hasn’t scheduled any Sunday matches on Fox except for the final. Fox is even refusing to air Mexico-Argentina, one of the biggest group-stage matches of the tournament for an American audience, on Fox, putting its college football product ahead of El Tri.
Fox has promised 98 hours of studio programming, including daily one-hour pregame shows plus buffer programming between matches and at least 30 minutes of postgame for USMNT games. Additionally, World Cup Tonight will air at midnight across the country (regardless of time zone) on Fox to recap the day’s events. In all, Fox networks plan to air 226 hours of World Cup coverage.
Fox will announce the lineup of broadcasters it will use in the summer. You can expect all the regular Fox soccer announcers — Alexi Lalas, Rob Stone, Stu Holden, John Strong, etc. — to be involved. Fox has not yet said if its studio productions will be broadcast from Qatar or back in Stateside or if its match announcers will be on location, a studio in the U.S. or a mix of both. Fox had a team in Russia four years ago when the U.S. didn’t qualify for the 2018 World Cup, but most of the match announcers called the games from a studio in Los Angeles.
In Spanish, Telemundo will air every match except for the simultaneous kickoffs to end the group stage. In those cases, Universo will air the other match. (All of the simultaneous kickoff TV channels are subject to change based on matchups.)
The tournament is broken down into two phases: group stage and knockout stage. The 32 participating nations have been divided into eight groups of four, with each team playing every team in its group once (three matches). The top two teams from each group (16 in all) advance to single-elimination knockout matches until a champion is crowned. During the group stage, matches will be played at 5 a.m., 8 a.m. 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. ET. Knockout round matches are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET. The final on Dec. 18 will kick off at 10 a.m. ET.
For the first time since 2002 when the defending champion opened the tournament, the host nation is not playing the first game of the World Cup. FIFA has condensed the schedule into the shortest World Cup since the tournament was increased to 32 teams, meaning more matches have been squeezed into a smaller window. The 2018 World Cup was four days longer.

There is a massive difference when it comes to creating goals at the club and national level. The amount of time available to get in sync with fellow countrymen is far less than that with club teammates. The football world has seen some amazing playmakers grace the game, showcasing their creativity on the pitch. But not all of them have been able to be that effective in creating goals at the national level.
Despite the different dynamics and challenges at the country level, some of the top playmakers have done really well. Here, we take a look at the footballers who have created the highest number of goals for their national team in the 21st century.Dusan Tadic has been in impressive form for Ajax since joining them in the 2018-19 season. The Serbian playmaker has been very instrumental in helping the club secure three league titles.
At the same time, the attacking midfielder has done equally well with the Serbian national team. Having made his international debut in 2008, Tadic became a regular starter after 2011.
The 33-year old played a massive role in helping Serbia qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup as he scored four goals and registered seven assists in the qualifying campaign.Riyad Mahrez was in sensational form last season for Manchester City as he has been for most of his career in England. The winger has a sweet left-foot and is capable of going past players with utter ease using his dribbling skills.
He is a regular for the Algeria national team and is currently the team's captain. Mahrez won the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, contributing three goals in the competition.Since his debut in 2014, Mahrez has registered 27 assists in 75 national appearances. He averages 0.36 assists per game and is a vital player for the Algerian national team.
There are very few players in the football world who can make playmaking look as silky and smooth as Mesut Ozil. With his amazing passing range and vision, the German midfielder has made creating chances look effortlessly easy on the pitch.
He may not be at his best right now but Ozil remains one of the most classy playmakers the football world has seen. The 33-year-old won the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Germany, contributing a goal and an assist in the competition.Ozil was the top assist-provider at both the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012 with three assists each. In his international career, the attacking midfielder has registered 40 assists in 92 appearances, averaging 0.43 assists per match.
Neymar made his international debut at the age of 18. The Brazilian forward has since become a vital player and is currently their second-highest goalscorer of all time with 74 goals.
With age, Neymar's role has modified more into a creator for his teammates. The 30-year-old attacker has so far created 52 goals in 119 national appearances.

Brazil enter as the No. 1 team in the world and have a manageable group to navigate, while defending champions France are expected to finish top in their group with a chance to build a head of steam into the knockout rounds of the tournament.
Which teams could surprise? African champions Senegal are one of the stronger teams in Group A, which also features hosts Qatar. In its first participation in 37 years, Canada landed in Group F, where it will like its chances to battle Morocco and Croatia for second place behind Belgium. The 2022 World Cup tournament will follow along the lines of recent editions with a 32-team group stage which whittles the field down to 16 teams — only the top two teams from each of the eight groups survive.
Those 16 group-stage teams advance to the single-game knockout stages — Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, final — where the winner moves on and the loser goes home. There must be a winner on the day for every knockout round match, and extra time and penalty kicks will be used, if necessary, to determine a victor. There will be up to four matches daily during the group stage and they will be staggered throughout the day. The only matches that will overlap are the ones played on the final day of the group stage phase and that's purely for competitive integrity.
Every time zone in the world will get a chance to watch matches at decent times throughout the day. Here's a breakdown of how the local kickoff times in Qatar translate across regions around the world.
